For three-quarters of a century, Orchestra Hall has survived the stages of change. It was born a preeminent concert hall for symphonic music, and began its third decade as an outstanding venue for jazz. It hosted vaudeville, and had it lights dimmed for movies. It has been a church, a recording studio and an abandoned building . Through an epic effort of restoration and renewal, the building still stands tall. I designed the outside banners of the hall, its logo, the concert series brochures, the annual ticket sales catalog and the 75th anniversary book.
